My Intuition Spoke But I Didn’t Like It

My intuition spoke to me this morning. But I didn’t like what it had to say. It said to create a new 12 week group coaching program. It said to start it in July and to do a preview call this month to support it.

Here’s a post I made in a Facebook group I’m in:

“The voices in my head told me to create a new 12 week group coaching program. They told me to start it in July and to do a preview call this month to support it. The title is “Tapping into Wealth – Using EFT (tapping) to Break Your Money Blocks.”

Margaret Lynch wrote the best-seller, “Tapping into Wealth” and then rolled out a program to create coaches. Among other things, I am one of her coaches.

Son of a bitch! I don’t want to do this! But can you guess what my summer project is? It must be the right thing to do because in a matter of moments I wrote this week’s blog post about my experience.
Well…back to the voices. Gotta get dates and stuff like that.”

Don’t get me wrong, I love what I do. And what I do makes a difference in women’s lives. Working on your relationship with money is one of the greatest gifts you can give yourself. It’s a game-changer.

I just didn’t want to do it now. I certainly know the content inside and out. And I’ve done quite a few group programs before but I wasn’t keen on creating a group program around this content now. And I certainly didn’t want to have to give a preview call in the next few weeks.

But I have learned the hard way to listen to those little voices in the back of my head. When I don’t, I regret it. It may be something as innocuous as not listening to it tell to take the next ramp on the freeway. I don’t listen and get stuck in a traffic jam. Or it could be worse.

Not listening has cost me more than that. I’ve lost opportunities. Either I decided not to do what I was told and realized later it was a great opportunity, or, I drag my feet until it’s too late.

I’m not going to do that this time. I’m listening. I’m going to be pretty busy these next few weeks getting everything in place for that preview call – not to mention writing it. And I sure as hell hope there’s more than just one or two women in this group.

For better or worse, I’m following that intuition on this one.

How about you? How well do you listen to your intuition? Have you lost opportunities because you haven’t? Share your experience in the comment box below.

By the way, if you want a super early, early bird special on my Tapping into Wealth Group coaching program email me at and we can talk.

Have your say
